Hello there! I'm Ashley and I grew up in Hong Kong. I love taking new friends out in my hometown and share the stories of Hong Kong through its comfort food. If you're looking for a local friend to guide you around the city, you've come to the right place!

How it all began

I spent most of my life in Hong Kong until I went to study abroad in the UK and Canada. After being away from home for a few years, I realised there was no place quite like home! I love traveling around the world and find the best way to immerse in a new city is to skip the touristy spots and instead hang out with the locals and eat my way around. I started Hong Kong Food Crawlers as a platform to combine share my love of Hong Kong and its food to more people from around the globe!
